Working at scale
Abt has been family-owned since 1936, but its online store operates at a very different scale. Thousands of products, detailed purchasing flows, and a wide range of customers mean that even a small interface decision can affect a lot of people. The work has to feel simple to the customer while fitting into a mature e-commerce platform behind the scenes.
02 / Approach
My contribution
I build customer-facing features, improve existing shopping experiences, and work through the edge cases that come with a large production codebase. That includes translating designs into durable interfaces, connecting frontend work to backend systems, and collaborating with engineers and designers before a change reaches customers. The result is steady, practical improvement to a storefront people rely on every day.
